Update Report: Flood Recovery Progress - Pacific Northwest

Ongoing rainfall and flooding in the Pacific Northwest have delayed our restoration efforts. As reported on Friday, December 12, 2025, the Stampede, Scenic, and Bellingham Subdivisions have reopened, and BNSF crews are continuing to monitor the situation and working to restore service on the Sumas Subdivisions.

 Current Status by Subdivision:

  • Sumas Subdivision: Estimated date of opening: Saturday, December 20, 2025
  •  Stampede Subdivision: OPEN 
  • Scenic Subdivision: OPEN
  • Bellingham Subdivision: OPEN
